Language Arts: Unit 24 Spelling due tomorrow
Today we took a quiz over “Tom Sawyer,” practiced writing complex sentences, and began reading a new short story.

History: Finish script for monologue
Today we finished researching and wrote a script in first person for our famous Greek monologue.
Language Arts: Tom Sawyer Quiz Mon., Unit 24 Spelling Tues.
(Some students took home a cure-all ad to finish for Mon.)
Today we finished using persuasive appeals to create an advertisement and reviewed for out Tom Sawyer quiz.

Today we began to research a famous Greek to present to the class.
Language Arts: Final copy of typed short story due tomorrow,
Signed Lit. Tests due tomorrow, Unit 24 Spelling Due Tues.
Today we reflected on character traits of Tom Sawyer and created a ‘cure-all’ similar to the one in our short story using a type of persuasive appeal.
